Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to empower K-12 students for the remainder of the school year. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic role near Rio Rancho, NM, supporting students across grade levels. You’ll collaborate with educational professionals and families, ensuring each child receives individualized behavioral support and meaningful growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Proven skill developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Expertise in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Strong background in contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to assess student needs and inform interventions
- Develop, write, and monitor effective BIPs tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams regarding IEP goals and progress
- Provide ongoing training and guidance for school staff and families
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate behavioral outcomes
- Make recommendations to support student success within inclusive settings
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
