Kelly Services is now hiring Material Handling Specialists for a growing manufacturing operation. In this role, you'll operate computerized vision inspection and sorting equipment, support production activities, ensure product quality, and prepare finished goods for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:
As a Material Handling Specialist, you'll operate computerized vision inspection equipment used to sort products for shipment while supporting production, quality, material handling, and shipping activities throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, start, operate, and stop computerized vision inspection and sorting machines
- Perform machine setups utilizing mathematical and measurement skills
- Load and unload materials, products, carts, dollies, and processing equipment
- Sort products accurately on conveyor systems and automated inspection equipment
- Identify and remove defective or non-conforming products from production
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues to supervisors as needed
- Measure product dimensions and mark parts for identification
- Record production, quality, and operational data accurately
- Lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Remove machine attachments and assist with equipment changeovers
- Scrape waste materials and maintain clean production areas
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment
- Assist with production line activities and material movement as needed
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills for machine setups
- Ability to use computer programs and automated equipment systems
- Ability to read, understand, and maintain production records
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Availability to work overtime as needed
Work Environment:
This position is located in a manufacturing environment where team members operate automated sorting and inspection equipment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting and moving materials, working around industrial machinery, performing repetitive tasks, and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) while maintaining safety and quality standards.

- Communicating professionally with supervisors and team members
- No cell phone use while actively working unless authorized by management
