Special Education Teacher - Mc Coll, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License (mandatory)
• Special Education certification
• Early Childhood degree and certification (for EC PCD Teacher, ages 3-4)
• SPED Multi-Categorical Endorsement (for K-3 ID Mild/Mod Self-contained)
• Experience in school-based or special education settings preferred
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies for early learners and/or multi-categorical K-3 students
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and families
• Conduct ongoing student assessment and progress monitoring
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation as required
• Foster an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
