Unarmed Security Officer

The Unarmed Security Officer will work primarily in a commercial environment, ensuring the safety and security of people and property. This role requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle conflict professionally. The officer will operate as a solo member of the security team and must be prepared to work regular evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine surveillance and safety inspections of commercial premises
• Report incidents promptly and accurately
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries to maintain a safe environment
• Resolve conflicts with professionalism and calmness
• Enforce established safety rules and policies
• Maintain clear communication with management and emergency services as needed
• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect potential security risks

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in security operations
• Strong observation and conflict management skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience with patrolling commercial environments
