About This Role
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote academic, social, physical, and intellectual growth needed
What You'll Do
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of preschool programs.
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
Requirements
- CDA certification in Preschool or Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or NYS Certification (Birth through Grade 2)
- 1 year working experience in a lead teacher role.
- Willing to obtain the CDA certification
