Job Description

About the Role

The Branch Manager leads the day-to-day operations of an assigned location within a larger partner brand, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will own the full performance of your site including the P&L, team, customer experience, and operational execution, while leveraging the GM and platform resources to solve problems and drive growth. Whether running an established location or launching a new one, you are the operator on the ground who sets the standard, holds the team accountable, and makes the business better every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership: Own the full financial performance of your assigned location including revenue, gross margin, and controllable expenses. Monitor KPIs closely, identify variances early, and take corrective action to keep the business on plan.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee all local functions at your location including service delivery, sales, dispatch, installation, and customer experience. Drive operational efficiency and maintain a high-performance culture across all departments.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, develop, and hold accountable the managers and technicians at your location. Set clear expectations, provide consistent coaching, and build a team that executes with discipline and urgency.
  • Staffing and Talent: Identify, hire, develop, and retain talent across all levels of the location. Collaborate with the GM and platform recruiting resources to ensure the right people are in the right seats.
  • Growth and Customer Experience: Develop and implement plans to grow the business organically, expand market share, and achieve financial objectives. Champion a customer-centric approach that ensures exceptional service delivery and consistent customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to and uphold compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols per LSP and partner brand standards.
  • Greenfield Execution: If assigned to a new market, execute the LSP Greenfield playbook for the location, iterating based on real-time learnings. Manage launch milestones, staffing ramp, and operational readiness across all local functions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience, preferably in home services or a comparable field services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a location-level P&L and lead operational teams across multiple functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable decisions
  • Proven ability to build and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across employees, customers, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in technology and software systems to drive operational efficiencies
  • Knowledge of ServiceTitan a plus

Who You Are

You are a clear communicator who puts employees and partners first, a creative problem-solver who doesn't let things linger, and someone who moves fast without cutting corners. Above all, you hold yourself to a higher standard. In your work, your judgment, and how you treat people.

What Onboarding Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you will immerse yourself in the location, learning the team, the financials, and the operational rhythm, while building relationships with the GM and key platform resources. By day 60, you will be running daily operations with full ownership, have identified the highest-priority performance gaps, and be actively working to close them. By day 90, you are fully in the seat, owning the P&L, holding the team accountable, and functioning as the operational leader of your location.

The 5 Big Things — What Success Looks Like

  • The location P&L performs: Success means revenue, margin, and controllables are on plan every month because you are managing the business actively, identifying issues early, and correcting them after they compound.
  • Daily operations run with discipline: Success means huddles happen, jobs start on time, productivity is high, callbacks are low, and the operating rhythms at your location are consistent and well executed every day.
  • Your team is strong and growing: Success means managers and technicians are well-onboarded, held to clear expectations, coached consistently, and developing in their roles because you invest in people as a core part of running the business.
  • Customers experience the brand at its best: Success means service quality is consistent, issues are resolved quickly, and the customer experience at your location reflects the standard the GM has set for the broader brand.
  • You run it like you own it: Success means you act with urgency and integrity, solve problems at the local level, and make decisions in the best interest of the business and the customer without waiting to be told what to do.
