Swim Instructor

Private residential health club located in Manhattan is seeking an experienced and personable Swim Instructor to join our team. This is an opportunity to work in a premium residential health club environment with wonderful families and members in a private, upscale, community-focused setting. This is a part-time position; the wage rate is $35 per 30 minute swim session.

The ideal candidate is someone who is

• Experienced in teaching swim lessons to children and adults of varying skill level
• Warm, professional, patient and highly personable
• Reliable, engaging and confident working with families and demonstrates commitment to swim and safety instruction
• An excellent communicator, can enforce policies, and is responsible, alert and able to respond and act accordingly in emergency situations
• Customer-service oriented
• Available weekday evenings and weekends

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a private swim instructor
• High School diploma or GED equivalency
• Valid CPR, AED, Basic Swim/Water Safety instruction certification
• Flexible scheduling opportunities
