Truss Builder

Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Truss Builder to join a manufacturing team. The Truss Builder will assemble wooden roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, measurements, and production specifications. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Build wood trusses according to blueprints, measurements, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, position, and assemble lumber accurately.
• Use pneumatic nail guns, hammers, saws, and other hand/power tools.
• Position lumber and metal plates correctly during assembly.
• Inspect completed trusses for proper construction, measurements, and quality.
• Read and follow production drawings and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Lift, move, and position lumber and completed trusses throughout the production process.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, carpentry, framing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic measurements and blueprints.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
