Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Overnight Shift | Part-Time
Job Description
Homeward Care LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide overnight support for a female college student living on campus.
Schedule
- Monday–Sunday
- 3:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Part-time
- Applicants may select specific days based on availability
Responsibilities
- Provide repositioning and safety check-ins approximately every 30 minutes or as needed
- Assist with positioning and personal care needs
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Follow the client’s individualized care plan
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
- Promote the client’s comfort, privacy, and independence
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently during overnight/early morning hours
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Compassionate and respectful of client privacy
- Able to follow detailed care instructions
- Comfortable working in a college/dorm environment
- Willing to complete required DSP training and onboarding
- Previous DSP, caregiver, home care, CNA, or personal care experience preferred
