Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our field operations in Harrison, OH, and surrounding areas. In this leadership role, you will be directly responsible for managing a dedicated concrete crew, reading blueprints, executing project plans, and making critical on-site decisions to ensure high-quality results across both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Direct, train, and manage field personnel to maintain safety, productivity, and workmanship standards.
- Blueprint & Plan Reading: Interpret structural blueprints, elevation specs, layout drawings, and project schedules accurately.
- Site Management: Oversee all phases of concrete work—including subgrade prep, forming, rebar installation, pouring, finishing, and curing.
- On-Site Decision Making: Solve job site challenges, adjust crew schedules, and manage material deliveries efficiently.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to job specifications, local building codes, and OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in concrete construction, with at least 1–2 years in a foreman or leadership role.
- Project Scope: Strong background in both residential (foundations, driveways, slabs) and commercial (flatwork, footings, structural pours) applications.
- Technical Skills: Ability to independently read and execute project plans and blueprints.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for operating company vehicle).
