Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Ethos Health Group is looking for an organized, dependable, and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team!
Purpose of the Role
This position will support our Human Resources department with the day-to-day needs of the organization. The HR Generalist will assist with a variety of HR activities, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits, timekeeping, employee questions, and general administrative tasks.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and learning different areas of Human Resources.
What You'll Do
Assist the HR department with day-to-day HR administrative tasks
Help post open positions and coordinate the recruiting process
Review applications and resumes and assist with scheduling interviews
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
Assist with background checks, drug screens, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements
Help prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate onboarding
Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
Answer basic employee questions and direct more complex questions to the appropriate HR team member
Assist employees with general questions regarding benefits, PTO, timekeeping, and company policies
Assist with monitoring employee timecards and correcting timekeeping issues
Help maintain HR files and documentation
Assist with employee changes, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and status changes
Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment when needed
Help coordinate employee communications, training, and company initiatives
Assist with HR compliance tasks and required documentation
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other HR-related documents
Assist with employee events, recognition programs, and engagement activities
Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Assist with special HR projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
1–2 years of HR, administrative, office, or related experience preferred
HR experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Comfortable using Google Suite, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets
Ability to learn new software and HR systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Positive, professional, and helpful attitude
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and willing to learn. You don't need to be an expert in every area of HR. We're looking for someone who wants to be a valuable support to the HR department and is interested in growing their HR knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable asking questions, taking initiative, helping employees, and handling the many small details that keep an HR department running smoothly.

Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 6:00pm
