• BAXIMUS is seeking a Food Truck Team Member to join our Little Caesars food truck serving Naval Base San Diego. JOB SUMMARY
As a Food Truck Team Member, you’ll help our small, close-knit crew serve fresh, hot and ready Little Caesars pizza from our mobile unit at Naval Base San Diego. Whether you’re prepping food or baking orders, your goal is to create a fast, friendly experience for every guest we serve. This part-time role is a great fit if you’re dependable, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in doing things right — no prior restaurant experience required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Service
• Greet every guest with energy, warmth, and care, setting the tone for a great experience at the truck window.
• Take and process orders accurately, ensuring guests receive the correct items every time.
• Suggest menu items and combos to enhance the guest experience and support sales goals.
• Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to a shift lead or manager when needed.
Food Prep & Quality
• Prepare pizza and menu items to Little Caesars’ brand recipes, portioning, and quality standards.
• Follow all standard operating procedures for cooking, holding, and serving food safely.
• Maintain consistent product quality and presentation throughout each shift.
• Communicate with teammates to keep production moving smoothly during rushes.
• Stay current on promotions and menu items to answer guest questions accurately.
• Advise guests on food choices, including allergens.
Point of Sale & Cash Handling
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for every transaction.
• Handle card payments following all policies and procedures.
• Support speed-of-service goals by working efficiently during peak periods.
• Ensure order accuracy from order-taking to guest hand-off.
• Follow all Little Caesars safety regulations and standards.
Truck Setup & Maintenance
• Assist with daily setup and breakdown of the food truck at its assigned location.
• Restock food, supplies, and paper goods before and during service.
• Monitor and report any equipment issues (ovens, warmers, POS, generator) to a shift lead promptly.
Food Safety & Cleanliness
• Deliver the Little Caesars hospitality model consistently, even in a compact, mobile-truck environment.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety regulations and standards required for mobile food service.

Requirements
• Prior food truck or QSR experience preferred but not required — we provide hands-on training.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compact, mobile food-service environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices; willingness to complete food handler training as required.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, which may include early mornings, weekends, and event-based shifts.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain/maintain base access credentials for Naval Base San Diego.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs.
