About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer of powersports vehicles, off-road equipment, and recreational products, is seeking an Indirect Sourcing Specialist to support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives across Engineering Capital Equipment, Technology, and Services categories. This role is ideal for an established procurement professional who enjoys managing the end-to-end sourcing process, reviewing contracts, analyzing data, and building strong relationships with business stakeholders and suppliers.

Working closely with Engineering, IT, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams, you will help drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize costs, reduce supplier risk, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual requirements. Success in this role requires strong sourcing and procurement expertise, contract review experience, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the full Source-to-Contract lifecycle for Engineering Capital Equipment, Technology, and Services categories.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective sourcing and procurement strategies.
  • Prepare and execute sourcing events, including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, benchmarking activities, and risk assessments.
  • Support vendor negotiations involving pricing, payment terms, service-level agreements, warranties, intellectual property protections, and other contractual provisions.
  • Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders to review, redline, negotiate, and execute contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and technology agreements.
  • Review contract terms and identify clauses that may introduce risk or require further negotiation.
  • Manage contract administration activities, including contract uploads, documentation, and compliance tracking.
  • Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and sourcing opportunities to identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Extract and consolidate data from multiple systems and sources to create reports, dashboards, and business insights.
  • Develop sourcing-related reports and presentations for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
  • Drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, contract management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing sourcing activities throughout the full Source-to-Contract lifecycle.
  • Strong contract review and administration experience, including the ability to identify potentially unfavorable terms, clauses, and risks.
  • Experience conducting supplier risk assessments and commercial evaluations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Dashboard creation
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems to develop meaningful reports and recommendations.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse business functions and communication styles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement compliance, contracting fundamentals, supplier governance, and risk management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Engineering Capital Equipment, Information Technology, Technology Services, Industrial Services, or Professional Services categories.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, technology, or industrial environments.
  • Experience with ERP, procurement, supplier relationship management (SRM), or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
  • Previous experience negotiating capital equipment purchases, technology agreements, and professional services contracts.
  • Familiarity with supplier onboarding processes and contract governance programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive sourcing improvements.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, IT, or other technical business functions.
