EXPERIENCED LEAD TECH NEEDED – START ASAP!
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a strong, experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Covington, LA. We need someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and lead the maintenance team effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- Multifamily/apartment maintenance experience REQUIRED
- Previous Lead Maintenance Technician experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
- Experience handling work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
- Able to prioritize daily maintenance needs and keep work moving efficiently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be available to start ASAP
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily maintenance operations and prioritize work orders
- Complete apartment make-ready/unit turns
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Help train and guide maintenance team members
- Maintain property grounds, common areas, and equipment
- Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to property standards
