Manufacturing Supervisor - Temp to Perm - 2nd Shift

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of an assigned manufacturing department to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality office seating products. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position directly supervises approximately 25–30 hourly union employees and is accountable for achieving plant objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.

The Manufacturing Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Production Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Human Resources to ensure safe operations, efficient production flow, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, develops employees, promotes Lean Manufacturing principles, and drives operational excellence through collaboration and accountability.
