Shop Floor Team Member
Job Description
The Shop Floor Team Member plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations on the retail floor, part preparation, and maintaining high production standards. This role involves close collaboration with team members and reporting to the Shift Manager. The position supports standard working hours with occasional overtime and provides opportunities for growth into supervisory roles and cross-training across departments.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery efficiently and safely
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Report production status and issues accurately
- Set up and maintain workstations for smooth workflow
- Apply powder coating to parts consistently
- Hang, prep, and take down parts as required
- Wash, plug, and mask parts following quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with machine operation
- Knowledge of safety compliance practices
- Familiarity with quality control processes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
