The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations by assisting healthcare providers with patient care and documentation using an EHR system like athenaOne. This position requires knowledge in patient intake, vital signs measurement, and clinical assistance to ensure efficient and effective patient management. We are a clinic that ADVOCATES for our patients, and you will be a vital part of that mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and collect medical histories
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Provide clinical assistance during examinations and procedures
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Document patient information in the Electronic Health Record system (athenaOne)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical assisting
• Certification in Medical Assisting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care best practices
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
• Strong skills in vital signs measurement
• Effective communication, organization, and time management
