Production Worker - Sheet Metal Shop

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Worker to join our sheet metal shop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

%CF; Assist with the fabrication and production of sheet metal products

%CF; Operate shop machinery and hand/power tools as trained

%CF; Measure, cut, bend, form, and prepare sheet metal components

%CF; Read work orders, measurements, and basic shop drawings

%CF; Assemble and prepare finished products for the next stage of production or shipment

%CF; Inspect work for quality and accuracy

%CF; Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

%CF; Follow all company safety procedures

%CF; Assist other production team members as needed

Qualifications

%CF; Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or sheet metal is perferred, but we are willing to train the right person

%CF; Comfortable working with hand and power tools

%CF; Able to accurately use a tape measure

%CF; Dependable and punctual

%CF; Strong attention to detail

%CF; Able to follow instructions and work independently once trained

%CF; Willing to learn new equipment and processes

%CF; Able to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and safely lift and move materials commonly handled in a sheet metal production environment.
