CDL Driver/Laborer

MEMCO is looking to hire a CDL Class A Driver/Laborer in Atlanta, GA!

Pay: $23-$28/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Job Overview: We are currently hiring a CDL Class A Driver/Laborer to support a commercial scaffolding operation. This role is responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading scaffold materials to and from jobsites while helping maintain safe and organized deliveries. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer to transport scaffold materials to jobsites and yards.
• Load and unload scaffolding equipment including frames, braces, planks, and related materials.
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport.
• Assist with organizing materials in the yard and on delivery sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate with dispatch, yard staff, and jobsite personnel regarding deliveries.
• Support warehouse or yard labor operations when not driving (50%).

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record.
• MINIMUM 2 years' experience in construction, industrial, scaffold, or material transportation environments.
• Ability to lift heavy materials weighing 50 lbs. or more and work in a physical outdoor environment.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work early mornings and occasional overtime as needed.
