Hudson Trading Group, LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Safety Coordinator to support our BRCGS-certified food manufacturing and spice processing operations. This role is critical to maintaining food safety compliance, supporting production efficiency, and strengthening quality systems across our manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, is highly organized, and has experience working within food manufacturing or food processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all required food safety documentation in accordance with BRCGS Issue 9 standards, including:
• • Floor logs
  • Cleaning logs
  • Checklists
  • Pre- and post-production inventory counts
  • Lot traceability records
• Monitor compliance with Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Track production trends, KPIs, efficiencies, and operational targets using Excel, Office 365, Teams, Trace, and CRM tools
• Report non-conformities promptly and assist with corrective action implementation
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs including TPC, E. coli, and Salmonella swabbing
• Support emergency response and incident management drills
• Provide guidance, training, and support to production floor staff
• Serve as a liaison between office and manufacturing teams
• Adapt to changing production schedules and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Ensure compliance with all company food safety policies and operational standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
• PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification highly preferred
• SQF experience is a plus
• Strong technical skills in:

  • Trace systems
  • CRM platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong work ethic and professional communication skills
• Comfortable standing and walking throughout the workday
• No food allergies, particularly to spices
