Head of Sales - Steel Fabrication

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales strategy, team leadership, and market analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement innovative sales initiatives while fostering a high-performance culture within the team. The Head of Sales will be responsible for building relationships with key clients, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring the sales team meets its targets. Must have Steel or Aluminum sales experience and understand the markets

Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Conduct training sessions to improve the skills of the sales team in areas such as product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company’s offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market insights.
• Familiarity with tools related to construction or manufacturing such as press brake machines, forklifts, ductwork systems, pipe threading equipment, cranes, blueprint reading, sheet metal fabrication, rigging processes, hand tools usage, and caliper measurements is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
