Experienced Flooring Installer

Responsibilities

• Assessing the installation site and preparing it by cleaning and leveling the surface.
• Removing old flooring and debris to ensure a clean and smooth base for new installations.
• Measuring the area accurately to determine the amount of material needed.
• Installing various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet and polish concrete.
• Cutting flooring materials to fit around corners, edges, and obstacles.
• Using adhesives, nails, staples, or other methods to secure flooring materials in place.
• Ensuring that the flooring is laid evenly and smoothly, with no gaps or imperfections.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in flooring installation and repair is required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for flooring installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during installation.
