Registered Behavioral Technician

The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) plays a vital role in delivering behavioral therapy services under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Working primarily in school-based settings, the RBT implements treatment plans, collects and records behavioral data using specialized software, and interacts closely with clients to monitor and support their progress. This position offers growth opportunities in behavioral specialties and potential advancement toward supervisory certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by BCBA
• Collect and document behavioral data using specialized software
• Interact directly with clients in school-based settings
• Monitor client progress and report findings to supervising BCBA
• Prepare materials and environments for sessions
• Support therapeutic treatment implementation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in behavioral therapy
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Experience with behavioral data collection
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Effective time management and documentation skills
