We are seeking someone to lead plant maintenance operations and drive equipment reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and at peak performance while supporting production, quality, and business objectives.


The successful candidate will oversee maintenance personnel, manage preventative maintenance programs, lead capital and equipment improvement projects, and play a key role in advancing operational excellence across the facility. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing teams while improving equipment performance and plant profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop all maintenance personnel, including supervisors, lead hands, mechanics, and apprentices.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Lead equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs, equipment performance metrics, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the annual departmental operating budget.
  • Participate in Kaizen, continuous improvement, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Senior Leadership teams to achieve business objectives.


Desired Background

  • Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Plant Engineer, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, vendors, and contractors.

Compensation, $120-125k, plus
