A leading commercial general contractor is seeking a Vice President of Construction Operations to provide senior operational leadership across a growing portfolio of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution, field operations, and project management teams across multiple projects.
- Partner with business leadership on financial performance, workload forecasting, growth strategy, and operational planning.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, profitability, safety, quality, risk, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and develop Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other operational staff.
- Drive process improvements, technology adoption, risk mitigation, and operational consistency.
- Resolve escalated project, owner, and trade-partner issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients, design professionals, and trade partners.
- Champion safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including 5+ years in senior project management or operations leadership.
- Proven success leading multiple projects and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial, operational, client relationship, and strategic leadership skills.
- Demonstrated record of successful project delivery, profitability, schedule performance, quality, and safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
