Multi Axis Twin Turret CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist

Northern Gear & Machining is URGENTLY HIRING a 1st or 2nd Shift Multi Axis Twin Turret CNC Lathe Set-up Machinist. This individual will set-up and operate CNC Multi Axis Twin Turret Lathes - Nakamura, Takamaz, ect.

Responsibilities:

• Independent set up of CNC Multi Axis Twin Turret Lathes - Nakamuras
• Be accurate and proficient with gaging
• Perform inspections of machined products including documentation of results
• Detect and report defective materials
• Complete all 1st piece inspection requirements
• Familiar with ISO standards and follow all standards and procedures
• Ability to efficiently and independently set-up/operate multiple machines

Qualifications:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows all safety procedures and policies
• Be able to read blueprints
• Achieve, maintain, and establish productivity levels
• Zero defect quality mentality
• Minimum 3 years' experience operating and setting up machines
