General Accounting Clerk

We are a small Northridge based beverage wholesaler - family owned and operated for 60 years.

We are looking for a full time accounting clerk working in our office.

This is a full time position and will be scheduled for 35-40 hours per week. Normal schedule will be working 9:00 to 5:00 4 or 5 days during the week (M-F) plus working 9:00 to 5:00 every other Saturday.

Must be available to work every other Saturday though no Sundays or evenings are required.

Starting pay is $21.50 to $23.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Requires good customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties Include:

• Entering payment and invoice information into QuickBooks
• Communicating with customers on billing issues.
• Maintenance of customer records.
• Generating and mailing statements and invoices
• Covering basic dispatcher duties during dispatcher breaks and days off.
• Covering basic store clerk duties during store clerk breaks.
• Answering calls and entering order information into the route management system.
• Prepare bank deposits.

Job requirements:

• Needs good customer service skills.
• Must be proficient with using a Windows PC and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Must be able to consistently follow established processes and procedures.
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
