Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our staffing agency is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a high-volume AP team in Cincinnati. This onsite role offers the opportunity to supervise 3-4 team members, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal departments, field operations, vendors, and banking partners.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Accounts Payable staff
• Manage 1099 setup, reviews, corrections, and filings
• Maintain lease records and ASC 842 compliance within LeaseQuery
• Oversee vendor onboarding and ACH setup/verification
• Process invoices, check runs, ACH payments, and bank releases
• Handle voids, garnishments, ACH returns, and positive pay activities
• Research and resolve uncashed checks and payment discrepancies
• Identify and implement process improvements across AP operations

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable leadership or supervisory experience
• Proficient Excel skills and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable environments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JD Edwards, Tronitech, and/or LeaseQuery
• Experience working for a publicly traded company or an organization subject to SEC reporting requirements
