Job Description:
As the Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager, you will take ownership of all back-of-house operations while maintaining exceptional standards for food quality, execution, cleanliness, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, train, and develop the entire BOH team
- Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and recipe standards
- Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen production
- Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, waste, and controllable expenses
- Participate in P&L management and drive strong financial performance
- Maintain proper BOH staffing levels through recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
- Create weekly BOH schedules while effectively managing labor
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development
- Maintain the highest standards for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
- Ensure proper kitchen organization, equipment maintenance, and operational readiness
- Create specials and contribute culinary ideas while maintaining concept standards
- Build a positive, accountable kitchen culture where team members can succeed and grow
