Job description

Shift: Morning (8AM-4PM)

Marcella’s Doughnuts & Bakery is looking for a dependable, creative, and detail-oriented Doughnut Decorator to join our production team. This position is responsible for finishing our doughnuts so they look consistent, appealing, and ready for our three retail locations.

No professional decorating experience is required—we are willing to train someone who is reliable, works efficiently, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

Ice, glaze, fill, drizzle, and decorate doughnuts according to Marcella’s standards

Prepare icings, fillings, toppings, and other finishing ingredients

Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and daily production sheets

Maintain consistent appearance, quality, and presentation

Work quickly while keeping the decorating area organized

Package and arrange finished products for delivery to our locations

Monitor ingredient levels and communicate when supplies are running low

Follow food-safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures

Clean and sanitize worktables, utensils, equipment, floors, and the surrounding production area

Assist with other bakery production tasks when needed

Comfortable following recipes and established procedures

Able to accept feedback and maintain consistent standards

Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team

Previous bakery, food-service, cake-decorating, or production experience is helpful but not required

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for the majority of the shift

Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements

Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds

Ability to work around bakery equipment, hot surfaces, flour, oils, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, and other common food allergens
