Litigation Attorney – Plaintiff's Employment Law

Lara & Luna is seeking a litigation attorney to join our growing Plaintiff's Employment Law practice. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated advocate to litigate meaningful employment cases. We represent employees in complex matters involving wrongful termination, retaliation, whistleblower claims, disability discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related disputes against private corporations who violate employment laws. Our attorneys are trusted with significant responsibility, meaningful client relationships, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

  • Handle sophisticated plaintiff-side employment cases from inception through resolution against private corporations and national defense law firms.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft and argue motions.
  • Manage discovery and litigation strategy.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Work directly with clients and decision-makers.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a confident, strategic litigator who enjoys advocating for employees and is looking for a long-term professional home.

Qualifications include:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • 1+ years of litigation experience.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
  • Trial experience is a plus but not required.
