Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician ready to contribute their skills in a retail pharmacy environment. The role offers a contract to hire arrangement, providing a pathway to permanent employment.
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Rotating start times between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM (7:30am, 8am, 9:30am, 11:30am)
- Closed Fridays at 6 PM
- No weekends initially, with potential for future weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assist in preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers
- Manage inventory and assist with maintaining pharmacy records in compliance with regulations
- Utilize pharmacy computer systems to process prescriptions and maintain documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
- Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work varying start times and adapt to schedule changes
