Weekend: 6a- 6p F-Sun (Paid 40hrs)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for performing primarily MIG welding on structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering drawings, weld symbols, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and maintain a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components, frames, and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and weld symbols.
• Fit, align, and assemble structural steel components prior to welding.
• Verify dimensions and ensure assemblies meet production and quality requirements.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality, completeness, and conformance to company standards.
• Perform minor repairs and rework as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Assist with material handling and movement of fabricated parts when necessary.

This is a Permanent position based out of Taylors, SC.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
