Location: Ballantyne – Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Salary: $55,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as possible

Southeastern Technology Group is seeking an experienced Office Operations Assistant to support its administrative, financial, human resources, and business operations. This is a highly visible role designed for a mid- to senior-level professional with the potential to grow into the Office Operations Manager position.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a wide range of responsibilities in a professional office environment. We are looking for someone who values stability, demonstrates strong professional judgment, and is interested in building a long-term career with the organization.
What You’ll DoSupport the daily administrative and operational needs of the office
Assist with employee timesheet processing and payroll coordination
Support employee onboarding and routine HR processes
Coordinate employee benefit setup and renewals, including health insurance and 401(k) plans
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and administrative processes
Perform basic accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assist with invoicing, purchasing, billing, and payment tracking
Communicate professionally with customers regarding purchasing and billing matters
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes
Work with owners, shareholders, and account managers on business operations
Assist with contracts, proposals, purchase orders, project funding, and client account setup
Support commercial insurance documentation and renewal processes
Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential business records
Assist with special projects and other operational responsibilities as needed
Previous administrative or office operations experience in a professional business environment
General understanding of accounting and business operations
Experience supporting payroll, invoicing, employee benefits, or HR-related processes
Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
QuickBooks experience is strongly preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Professional and confident phone presence
Ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion
Strong discretion when handling confidential employee, client, and financial information
Consistent employment history demonstrating reliability and professional commitment
High standards of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and work ethic
