Associate Litigation Attorney

SUMMARY:

Our client, a growing national law firm is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Associate to join its litigation team in Del Mar, California. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced environment. The position offers exposure to court appearances, motion practice, pleadings, discovery, and case management, with the opportunity to handle matters from inception through post-judgment proceedings. The firm provides strong support, mentorship, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Active California Bar license required

- 0-3 years of litigation experience preferred

- Associate Litigation Attorney

- Prior creditors' rights or collections experience is not required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent organizational and case management abilities

- Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Additional state bar admissions are a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a caseload of commercial and consumer matters from inception through post-judgment proceedings

- Appear in court, both in person and virtually, as needed

- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

- Conduct legal research and prepare matters for hearings and other proceedings

- Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, and developments

- Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support professionals on case management

- Collaborate with team members regarding firm policies, procedures, and case strategies

- Develop practical litigation skills through hands-on experience and mentorship
