Occupational Therapist School Setting in Methuen, MA

Key Qualifications:

• Active OT license required
• Experience or interest in school-based settings, serving K–12 students
• Ability to adapt therapy to students with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Flexibility to work per diem hours as scheduled onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct OT services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student access and success in the school environment
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for adaptive strategies and equipment as needed
