Job Title: Production Associate – 3rd Shift
Job Description
You will operate and monitor production machinery, ensure consistent product quality, and handle finished rolls safely and efficiently. The position has 1st and 3rd shift schedule in a clean, climate-controlled facility with clear pathways for advancement and competitive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Load raw material into the production machine using the hopper at the front of the equipment.
- Monitor the machine as material is formed into sheets and fed through to the roller at the back, ensuring continuous and consistent operation.
- Visually inspect and monitor products for quality defects throughout the production process, taking action when issues arise.
- Unload finished rolls from the machine once production is complete and place them safely on pallets to prepare for the next roll.
- Maintain a steady pace of work, performing approximately 10 minutes of physical activity per hour and monitoring the machine for the remaining time.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when using hand tools, packaging materials, and production equipment.
- Assist with general production and packing tasks as needed, including packaging finished products for shipment or storage.
- Operate production machinery and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including basic machine setup and simple adjustments as required.
- Use forklifts and other material handling equipment, when trained and authorized, to move materials and finished goods.
- Adhere to quality standards and report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting overall plant cleanliness and efficiency.
- Work effectively on a 2-2-3 3rd shift schedule, demonstrating reliability, steady attendance, and consistent performance.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably involving machine operation or production environments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated steady job history, including at least one year in a consistent position.
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs consistently and occasionally up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Experience with general production and general labor tasks.
- Hands-on experience with machine operation and machine operating in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with packing and packaging processes in a production environment.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Capability to work 3rd shift hours (6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.) on a 2-2-3 schedule.
- Commitment to following safety procedures, including use of required personal protective equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a slow-paced production environment where monitoring and attention to detail are critical.
- Experience in adhesive, plastics, or similar continuous-run manufacturing processes is a plus
- Comfort working with automated or semi-automated machinery that requires ongoing observation rather than constant physical labor.
- Willingness to participate in a contract-to-hire arrangement, with a typical 90-day evaluation period.
- Interest in long-term growth within a manufacturing organization, including progression from entry-level operator roles to leadership positions.
- Strong reliability and work ethic, with the ability to adapt to a growing facility and evolving production demands.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellevue, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
