We are looking for an experienced bilingual Spanish/English speaking Office Manager to oversee daily operations in Pacheco, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can work independently and serve as a steady resource for office, payroll, and employee support needs. The role requires a practical, organized, detail-oriented individual with construction industry experience who can help keep administrative processes running smoothly while supporting both office staff and field personnel.


Responsibilities:


* Oversee the office operations and ensure efficient workflow.

* Support with payroll and billing processes.

* Coordinate all back-office activities, including communication and data management.

* Support the onsite crew of approximately 20 workers, including equipment pickup and return after lunchtime.

* Assist the two onsite managers in handling client interactions and other tasks.

* Provide support to the occasional workers who work on and off the yard.


Qualifications:


* Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar role.

* Strong organizational and management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable and punctual.


Preferred Skills:


* Experience in coordinating blue-collar contractor-related activities.

* Familiarity with payroll and billing processes. Actual use of quickbooks and payroll software is not required. That’s handled different office

* Ability to work remotely from a location that is not centrally located within the company.

* Fluency in Spanish and English is required

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in office administration, with prior work in the construction industry required.
• Ability to manage branch operations independently and demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting payroll processes and maintaining accurate administrative records.
• Working knowledge of general office procedures, supply management, and receptionist responsibilities.
• Familiarity with accounts payable support and related documentation practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to assist employees with HR-related questions.
• Spanish language proficiency is required.
• Availability to work a permanent schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with flexibility for a part-time schedule of approximately 6 hours per day if needed.
