Job Description
Make a difference as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a PreK caseload in a school-based setting near Gilroy, CA. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering a vital role in helping young learners thrive in communication and language development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience in a school environment, particularly with PreK students, is highly valued
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with early childhood populations
- Willingness to work onsite for in-person services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to PreK students per their IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify communication needs
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of progress and serve as a resource for school teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt interventions and materials for varied student needs
