Job Description
Step into an enriching and collaborative environment supporting elementary students by providing high-quality speech-language services throughout the full school year. This part-time opportunity (4 days per week) invites a passionate SLP to make a meaningful impact while working on a diverse and engaged elementary caseload.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY welcomed)
- Experience with pediatric or elementary student populations
- Comfortable collaborating with various educational teams and families
- Prior exposure to school-based therapy settings; SLPA or healthcare SLP experience valued
- Ability to tailor interventions for individual needs and foster communication growth in young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and create customized intervention plans for elementary students
- Deliver direct and consultative Speech-Language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress and collaborate with educators, staff, and families to maximize outcomes
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings, providing input to support student success in the classroom
- Supervise and mentor SLPA team members as appropriate
- Stay informed of best practices for school-based speech therapy and contribute to ongoing growth initiatives
