Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current and valid Connecticut SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working within school environments, especially middle and high school, strongly valued
- Dedication to fostering communication development and supporting students’ academic and personal growth
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Partner closely with educators, staff, and families to promote student success and advocate for communication needs
- Stay informed about current best practices in speech-language therapy for adolescent populations
