Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current and valid Connecticut SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working within school environments, especially middle and high school, strongly valued
  • Dedication to fostering communication development and supporting students’ academic and personal growth
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Partner closely with educators, staff, and families to promote student success and advocate for communication needs
  • Stay informed about current best practices in speech-language therapy for adolescent populations
