Warehouse Shift Lead
Location: Edwardsville, KS
Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 3x12 Shift (Enjoy 4 full days off every week!)

Pay: $52,000 – $60,000/yr + Shift Premium & Full Benefits

What You'll DoWeekend Operations Ownership: Lead inbound/outbound cross-docking, including trailer unloading, package scanning, and staging regional shipments.
Shift Setup & Staging: Configure scanner hardware and workstations before temp crews arrive to ensure smooth shift launches.
Labor & Metric Control: Direct temporary pickers and sorters, tracking hourly volume to trim labor costs when volume slows.
Process & Troubleshooting: Solve mis-racked package issues on the spot and enforce standard procedures without skipping steps.
2+ Years Leadership Experience: Background as a warehouse lead, supervisor, or manager in cross-dock or parcel operations.
Autonomous & Decision-Ready: Confident running floor operations independently and managing temp crews calmly under pressure.
Hands-On & Tech-Savvy: Able to lift, stand, and move pallets alongside the team while setting up handheld scanners and reading metric dashboards.

Responsibilities
- Weekend Operations Ownership: Execute all inbound and outbound warehouse workflows, including trailer unloading, pallet scanning, and cross-dock trailer loading for regional transit.
- Floor Setup & Preparation: Set up scanning hardware, prepare totes, and align workstations prior to temp crew arrival for smooth shift start-ups.
- Hands-on Staging & Troubleshooting: Scan packages, stage inventory on driver pick-up racks, and fix misallocated packages before drivers arrive.
- Temp Workforce & Labor Management: Direct temporary pickers/sorters, continuously monitor volume numbers, and make timely decisions to cut labor when volume decreases to prevent wasted expenditure.
- Process Discipline: Complete daily operational checklists precisely according to company SOPs without skipping steps
