Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of current CT Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, especially in middle and high school
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at both the middle and high school levels
  • Develop tailored intervention plans, deliver direct therapy, and monitor progress for a diverse caseload
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success in and beyond the classroom
  • Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
  • Provide guidance and training to school staff and families regarding communication strategies and student needs
  • Stay updated on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
