Production Worker

Ascend Staffing is hiring dependable Production Workers for a busy propane facility in Centralia, WA!

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, works well with others, can follow safety procedures, and is comfortable with physical, repetitive work in an industrial environment.

• $18.50 per hour

• Full-time hours

• Weekly pay

You will start in one production position and, as you learn and demonstrate proficiency, you may be trained in additional areas of the production line.

• Remove old labels and caps from propane tanks

• Prepare tanks for the production line

• Place tanks onto the conveyor

• Operate production equipment

• Safely remove remaining propane from tanks

• Follow equipment and safety procedures

• Fill propane tanks according to production requirements

• Ensure tanks are filled to the correct level

• Follow safety and quality procedures

• Weigh propane tanks

• Verify proper tank weight

• Identify tanks that do not meet quality standards

• Secure caps onto propane tanks

• Inspect tanks for proper completion

• Move finished tanks down the production line

• Stack completed propane tanks

• Organize tanks for storage or shipment

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

This is a hands-on industrial production position.

You should be comfortable with:

• Standing and moving for extended periods

• Repetitive production work

• Working around propane tanks and machinery

• Industrial noise and odors

• Performing physical labor throughout the shift

• Following PPE and safety requirements

• Working as part of a production team

Day Shift:
6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Employees may occasionally be required to work as late as 6:30 PM.

Schedule: MondayFriday
Saturdays may be required based on production needs.

The ideal candidate is:

• Dependable and punctual

• Willing to learn multiple production positions

• Comfortable with repetitive physical work

• Able to stand for extended periods

• Able to lift and handle materials throughout the shift

• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment

• A strong team player with a good work ethic

• Available to work Saturdays when needed

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC

• Must pass a background check

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
