Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Kelly Services is currently hiring a Warehouse Material Handler / Counter Sales & Customer Service Associate to join a busy Zone Service Center. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and interacting directly with customers.
This position combines warehouse/material handling responsibilities with Counter Sales and Customer Service, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy both hands-on warehouse work and assisting customers with their orders and product needs.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse, counter sales, or customer service experience who are looking for a stable Monday–Friday schedule and an opportunity to grow their skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse / Material Handling:
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials following Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures
- Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer shipments
- Sort and package less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and complete required daily safety inspections
- Work safely at various heights and use ladders when required
Counter Sales / Customer Service:
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to customers at the service counter and by phone
- Assist customers with product questions, orders, availability, and general inquiries
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with product selection and order fulfillment
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure customer orders are picked and prepared correctly
- Handle Counter Sales transactions and customer requests
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve questions or issues
- Maintain a positive and professional customer experience
- Assist with other customer service and sales-related duties as needed
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Previous warehouse, material handling, customer service, or counter sales experience preferred
- 2+ years of warehouse experience is a plus
- Experience working in a large warehouse environment preferred
- Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus
- Customer Service / Counter Sales skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with customers in person and over the phone
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn order-entry/WMS systems
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
- Able to perform physical warehouse duties, including:
- Lifting and moving materials
- Climbing ladders
- Cutting wire
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Working in varying temperatures
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to following workplace safety procedures
