Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Carmel, IN

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the full academic year. Qualifications & Experience:

• Holds or is eligible for an SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings
• Previous work with elementary-aged children is preferred
• SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) experience in either school or healthcare settings is an advantage, though not required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to elementary students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor progress throughout the school year
• Document sessions, maintain thorough records, and contribute to team meetings
• Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other service providers
• Offer support in classroom environments to promote carryover of skills
• Stay informed about the latest speech-language pathology best practices
