Tax & Accounting Manager
Job Description
Seeking a Tax/Accounting Manager to join a CPA firm in West Dundee, IL.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review taxes for individuals, businesses, pensions, and trusts.
Provide tax consulting services.
Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services.
Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
Interact with clients and take responsibility for client needs.
Work with individuals and small and medium sized businesses in all areas of accounting and compliance.
Maintain strong managerial, communication, technical, and organizational skills in a fast paced environment.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all work products.
Qualifications:
Accounting degree is required.
3 or more years of public accounting experience in accounting and tax is required.
CPA certificate is preferred, but not required.
Expertise with federal and state tax regulations.
Experience interpreting financial statements.
Experience with tax and accounting software packages, including UltraTax, Accounting CS, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online.
Strong client management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
