Job Title: Document Control Specialist

Job Description

As a Document Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing engineering document workflows and ensuring smooth operations in document control systems. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with customers will be essential as you facilitate engineering workflows, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Field Change Notices (FCNs).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the check-out and check-in of engineering drawings.
  • Facilitate engineering workflows, including ECNs and FCNs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in document control systems and maintain attention to detail.
  • Plot hard copies and troubleshoot printer issues, including paper jams.
  • Engage in hard copy production activities one to two days per week.

Essential Skills

  • Familiarity with document control.
  • Experience in data entry and document controls.
  • Skills in project administration and project coordination.
  • Experience in construction administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma.
  • At least 6 months of experience in document controls.

Work Environment

This position is a staff augmentation role at an office in Allentown. You will work directly with the Document Control/Project Control Team and will be required to be in the office five days a week. The company culture is supportive, with the potential for bonuses once a direct hire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
