Schedule: Part-time, approximately 7.5 hours per week, on-site

Position Overview

A school district in Yelm, Washington is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Additional weekly hours may become available.

Caseload

• Approximately 45–50 students
• School-based, in-person services
• Specific grade levels and assignments will be discussed during interviews

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Washington SLP license
• Appropriate ESA certification
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Develop and support IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
• Maintain required documentation and progress records

Credentialing

• District onboarding and credential verification
• Background check and fingerprint clearance
• OSPI fingerprinting required prior to starting
