Ideal candidates will have experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy and are motivated to provide both direct and consultative services. Whether you’re a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll find this role both fulfilling and professionally stimulating.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech and language abilities to identify needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy services and monitor progress for students with a variety of communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage in IEP meetings and provide expert guidance on students' communication needs
